Construction - Tiling June 2023

Our construction group made their first attempt at some tiling. Firstly by practicing using the machine cutter to get a feel for it, then practiced by cutting out their initials using some spare tiles we had been donated. Once confident with the process they were tasked with tiling a new splash back for the grub hub. They worked well as a team and enjoyed the aspect of putting their new found skills into practice as they achieved their task. The next stage will be to grout and expand the tiles to eventually go all the way round the kitchen. The group worked really well following and listening to instructions, using their maths skills to work out how many tiles are needed.
